The classrooms are located in one main building separated by retractable walls that can be opened and closed depending on the learning tasks being undertaken. The school has a staffroom/community space, a gym, visual art space and a Performing Arts and Music venue. The grounds consist of a football oval, running track, hard courts, sound stage, playgrounds, vegetable garden and passive garden and play areas.
The Victorian Curriculum underpins the learning programs. A range of learning support and extension programs are offered in English, Mathematics and Science. Individual learning plans (ILP) are created for students in cooperation with families to promote continual learning growth as well as building the home school partnership.
Student involvement, engagement and leadership in all facets of school life is promoted. The school has a commitment to embedding eLearning into classroom practice with computer and digital technology available, and used in classroom and specialist programs. Extra-curricular activities, events and family celebrations promote student engagement and learning. The school has a mentoring program and works in partnership with many community and social agencies as part of a community hub. The school has transition programs with local secondary and preschools.
